Gasherbrum 2 (K4): A Remotely Accessible Peak
Gasherbrum 2, labelled as K4, is the 13th highest mountain in the world. Located on the border of China and Pakistan, it is considered one of the remotest and easiest climbs among the 8000-meter peaks. This peak is known for being straightforward and approachable with the right amount of expertise and guidance.
Every year, many climbers head towards Gasherbrum 2 during the summer season. The peak presents relatively few objective dangers, and very few deaths have been recorded in the past. However, climbers must have prior experience of climbing a 6000-meter peak, along with stamina, determination, mountaineering techniques, and patience to successfully climb Gasherbrum 2.
